Onthoudt, God is slimmer dan wij zijn. Zelfs slimmer en wijzer dan alle mensen bij elkaar! Hij heeft veel meer kennis over de totaliteit als alle mensen bij elkaar. De algemene wetenschap onderzoekt datgene wat er al is. God heeft alles met fine-tuning gemaakt. Dat is een feit die we kunnen observeren. 

Hieronder is een lijstje met algemene c.a. 20 vragen / statements, die overal in elke soort cultuur blijven terugkomen. Dit zijn centrale vragen waar de bijbel zeer goed antwoord op geeft. 

Vijf basis categorieën met vragen die ons gevraagd worden:

·         Uniqueness of Christ

o   Aren’t all religions basically the same?

o   Isn’t Jesus just based off of pagan myths?

o   I believe all religions lead to God/Heaven. What’s wrong with that?

o   Out of the thousands of gods ever thought of, all of us believe that out of 1,000 gods, 999 are fake. I just believe in one less god than you Christians do.

·         Authority of Scripture

o   Isn’t the Bible just an old book written by pre-scientific people that has a lot of mistakes in it?

o   The Bible has been changed so many times that no one knows what it ever really said.

o   The authors of the Bible made up stuff to gain power and control over others.

o   Why does the Old Testament God look different than the New Testament God? Why is in the OT God so angry, mean, homicidal, etc.?

·         Problem of evil and suffering

o   If God is so loving, how could he allow evil?

o   If God is so powerful, why doesn’t he stop evil?

o   Why did God put the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden to begin with?

o   Why didn’t God just skip all of this and send us automatically to heaven?

o   Why does God hide himself?

·         Faith and reason (science)

o   Hasn’t science disproven the Bible?

o   No one really believes that miracles happen, do they?

o   Since science can explain everything about life, isn’t it irrational to believe in an eye in the sky?

o   Since science can explain everything about life, we no longer need God as an explanatory mechanism.

o   If God created everything, then who created God?

·         Moral Reasoning

o   We don’t need a book to tell us right from wrong.

o   What’s so bad about subjective moral reasoning?

o   Are you saying that if I am not a Christian, then I can’t be moral?

o   Secular societies are better for the world. Doesn’t religion just make us hate one another?

o   Doesn’t religion cause more violence than anything else? Isn’t religion the cause of most wars?

o   Why don’t Christians act more ethically if they have all the answers?
